Book Publication
This is when financial and project management is crucial. Kristi managed a four-month publishing deadline for the book TESTED: How Twelve Wrongly Imprisoned Men Held Onto Hope, interfacing with the author, Dallas County District Attorney, Federal Government officials, and investor. Her responsibilities included but were not limited to:
- Scheduled interviews and recordings. Oversaw delivery of interim work product of writers, editors, designers, and photographers to meet deadlines.
- Cost analysis of publishing, COGS, ROI, and recommendations
- Managed national and local publicists for book launch strategy
- Supervised press releases
- Identified, coordinated and secured required legal releases and contractual agreements from 26 individuals featured in the book. Required interfacing with multiple agencies, individuals and law officials.
